A robust static rope designed for abseiling, caving, rigging and cleaning routes.
The 10.5 mm static rope by Gilmonte is ideal for long abseils into sport and trad lines, especially on sea cliffs. It's tough outer sheath is resilient when used over rough ground and is designed to last under intensive use. Unlike dynamic ropes, its low elongation when under load is designed to stretch as little as possible to reduce friction over rocks.
