Return & Refund Policy
Thank you for shopping with us at Sgùrr. We want you to be completely satisfied by your purchase, so if there are any issues with your package, we are here to help.
You can return new, unopened, unused or unworn items within 30 days of receiving it for full refund. Please refer to the returns process below. If an item arrives damaged or broken, please send an image of the item along with your order number to hello@sgurr.shop and a refund will be provided.

Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error

Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery
If the product you received is faulty, damaged or otherwise malfunctional we will pay for the cost of returns shipping. For other reasons, for example if you no longer want the item or the item doesn't fit you are responsible for the cost of all returns.
All returns made from a non-EU country must declare the returned item(s) as ''RETURN GOODS'' as we are unable to pay the import tax that will otherwise be applied on return.
Please note that whilst safety equipment can be returned, it must be in an unused condition with all labels and information labels and pamphlets attached. This includes, but is not limited to, cams, nuts, abalaks etc. For more information on whether an item can be returned, please email us at hello@sgurr.shop.
Guidance on "obvious signs of use"
We appreciate that items do not always fit or match your style. Please be cognizant that returns go back into our stock and will be sold as new in the future. Therefore, the item needs to be in a new and sellable condition.
For trad gear, sport gear and ropes: Since this is critical safety equipment, we cannot accept returns if an item has been used. Ropes must not be unpackaged or uncoiled. Trad and sport gear must not show any signs of wear such as scratches. Please do not use if you intend to return an item. We will accept damaged or defective items, however we are unable to accept used items due to safety concerns.
For climbing shoes: Feel free to try these on; walk around (indoors) wearing them, test the edge on a step or stair, and press on the toe box to test the fit. Please do not get any chalk on the shoe; do not wear for a full bouldering or lead session, and do not wear outdoors.
For clothing: Feel free to try these on or wear them for a short period. Please avoid getting any chalk on the clothing; wearing during exercise (avoiding sweat), and do not wear outdoors.
For chalk bags and backpacks: Feel free to try these on or wear them for a short period. For backpacks, feel free to do a test pack with your equipment. Please avoid putting any chalk in the chalk bag or liquids in the backpacks.
For chalk balls, chalk refills or other consumable items: Opening the packaging voids your ability to return these, with the exception of damaged or defective items.
Amendments or cancellations
At Sgùrr we endeavour to get all orders shipped as soon as possible once we receive your order. If you would like to amend or cancel your order, it must be done before the item is shipped. You will be sent a shipping notification when items are shipped and this marks to end of the amendment/cancellation period. After this the returns process should be followed.

1. Contact us
Please contact us via email at hello@sgurr.shop or by using the contact form and include the order number, email address and the reason for return/exchange. Please include, where possible, pictures of the items.
Please ensure the items are in a non-used state (including packaging) and that the original tags or labels are still attached to the items. If the product, including its packaging, is not returned in a suitable condition, we reserve the right to refuse the return or offer a partial refund.
2. Return the item(s)
Once you have contacted with us, we will provide our shipping address to allow you to arrange your return. We do not currently offer free shipping labels for return or exchange items.
We will also send the information that needs to be on the item when it is returned, this is generally the order number, but other information may be needed.
3. Processing
The team at Sgùrr will review the returned item(s) to confirm they are in a non-used state.
We reserve the right to refuse items returned in a used or damaged condition, including the packaging.
4. Refund or exchange provided
A refund or exchange will be initiated. You should expect to receive your refund or exchanged item within 14 days of the item being returned to us. Shipping costs cannot be refunded.
Please note that for the first exchange, the item will be sent out postage free. For additional exchanges postage charges will apply.
