An ultra-lightweight twin & half dry rope, the ideal companion for trad and alpine climbing. PFC-free waterproof coating to reduce its environmental impact. 

The Gill 8.3 mm by Gilmonte combines durability with performance for those long days in the mountains. Treated with Ultra Deep Protect prevents the ingress of dirt and dust and increases water resistance, enhancing its durability in rough terrain and wet conditions. As an additional feature, the Infra Thermo Treatment stabilises rope core and sheath, ensuring smooth and pleasant handling and preventing the yarn from shrinking over time.

Rated for use as a twin and half rope.

I wanted a 30m treated trad rope for cragging on shorter routes. It arrived quickly and I am delighted with the quality. Highly recommend using Sgurr.

I recently purchased the blue and gold Gilmonte Gill 8.3 half ropes and I am already excited to used them when the rain finally stops. The quality of the ropes is top notch and the fact they are dry treated is amazing compared to other dry treated half ropes.

Quality bit of kit

Really pleased with the 30m 8.3mm rope. Half ropes that length are hard to come by but make great sense for short outcrop routes. Nice rope and seems to handle well. Certainly up there with any other half rope I have had. Just need the other colour for the pair as it was out of stock.
