SHIPPING TO THE UK

We endeavour to dispatch parcels the same working day for orders placed before 4pm on a weekday. Orders placed after 4pm may be dispatched the next working day. All orders within the UK are sent using Evri or DPD. This is a tracked service and you will receive a tracking number once you have placed your order.

We are a small business run from our home, and as such we are often away on weekends in our van climbing, mountaineering and adventuring. Where an order is placed during a weekend or bank holiday, we will dispatch your parcel the next working day.

Please note that these dates are representative only. Occasionally we may dispatch your order the next day, and Evri has been known to miss their delivery targets. Equally, we are occasionally able to dispatch shipments over the weekend.

Customers in the Highlands and Islands may find delivery timescales are longer.

A note about Evri...
Whilst Evri may provide an affordable shipping service, they have been known to miss delivery targets and occasionally parcels are damaged or lost in transit. We appreciate Evri can be unreliable, and the Sgùrr team are working on finding an alternative shipping carrier than can provide a comparable level of price and service. In the meantime, we encourage our customers to choose DPD, where possible, given the faster delivery times and higher quality service. 

SHIPPING TO EUROPE

We are currently shipping to countries within Europe, however please be aware that your parcel is likely to incur customs and taxes to pay upon arrival. These vary depending on the contents and country to which they are being delivered, but should be approximately 20%. As we are a small business, we have been unable to find a solution to wavering the customs and taxes.

You, the customer, are responsible for all taxes and duties imposed by your country of residence for importing goods. These charges are out of our control, and vary from country to country depending on the products ordered and the rates of duty and charges imposed by the country in which you live. Please check with your country's customs office to determine their procedures and any potential charges.
